Classes and Presentations

I teach classes, give presentations, and write about plants.  I am not a marketer or advertising exec.  I communicate about plants, “so that you can succeed with your gardening goals.”

A while ago while trying to organize the website, I thought up this whole thing about writing, and the alphabet and then I just developed it.  I have a category on the site menu for Articles. one for Books, and one for Classes.  A-B-C.

The A-B-C’s of Gardening With Soule

I should call it “Presentations & Classes” because after a certain age, taking a class is not all that appealing.  But as I have said, I know more about plants than the human psyche, and I like the whole “A-B-C” thing.

Consider a Class

So I invite everyone to consider a class or presentation.

As I post this in August, it is about the time that garden clubs, beekeepers, Master Gardeners, professional organizations, and even service organizations (Lions, Rotary Clubs) are all planning their 2026-2027 speakers series.  Please remember that I offer a wide range of classes/presentations both in person and online.

I have been giving presentations for several decades.  I already have many presentations ready at a moments notice – but I will tailor them to the audience.  Native Plant Society in the High Desert – I can redo my Native Plants for the Low Desert for you!

Since I have a vast number of presentations “in the can.”  Some might already work for your group.  Do reach out if you have a last minute cancellation. I may be able to speak to your group and you’ll be left looking like the hero.

Online Classes

My online classes are (mostly) on my class site hosted by New Zenler.  I change the classes there on a quarterly basis.

Here’s one to consider for this fall: Plant Spring Wildflowers in the Autumn

My Promise: 100 Percent Organic Content

You will NEVER get AI generated anything from me. Not even story ideas. All ideas and all words are from my own brain and my own fingers. I DO fact check. In fact, I now fact check at least three times – because “truth is the intersection of three lies.” I have found profound inaccuracies in AI.  Worse.  AI is an idiot.  Recently AI thought that Herman Melville’s classic book Moby Dick (written in 1851) was 74 percent human and 26 percent AI.

I block AI from reading my pages. Why? Because the more they read human generated content, the more they learn to create something similar.  (At least I hope the code that blocks them is still working.)  I don’t want AI learning from my writing. Let people get fed up with AI inaccuracies and start going back to human content.
